Robbyn+Ron… Part I ~ The Reveal

Robbyn and Ron married last week – destionation style in Hawaii, then came home to celebrate traditional style with family and friends.  Their wedding here at home was charming and intimate, and their affection for eachother, beautiful and captivating.  I am honored that I was invited to share in capturing the joy of their celebration.  Thanks guys… your tenderness for one another was delightful to behold, as well as capture with my camera.

  5. Thanks everyone!

Hi Lacie! You will be a great help to your friend, I’m sure of it! You definitely have an eye yourself.
My idea of a perfect assistant is someone who constantly makes her/himself available. Close at hand and in tuned to everything the photographer is doing, yet never in the way. Also, its great to have an assistant to be a second pair of eyes, pay attention to things like crooked ties, etc., because the photographer has many things to consider: composition, camera settings, exposure, the mood being created… I’m not really one who likes to place people in poses, I like to orchestrate the feeling and do minor tuning from there so it’s nice when an assistant can be a second pair of eyes and catch the things I’m bound to overlook!
Reflectors are great too, keep an eye out for times when you can use them for fill light, so helpful!
You’ll do great! Have fun girl!
    🙂

  7. Beautiful Michelle,

Your website holds me spellbound! Not only do you exquisitely capture the enchanting, but with the Lord’s help and blessing, you lovingly create it in your own life and in the lives of all whom you touch. Thank you for being such an incredible blessing to Robbyn, and such a lovely inspiration to me!

May the Lord continue to shine His light upon you and through you!
