Another Abandoned Old House

Filed under: Everything Else — candid reflections @ 12:19 pm

Recently, there have been a few visits directed to this here blog through the search phrase “abandoned old house”.  Well, here’s one for ya…

Unlike this one, I fell in love with this abandoned old house several years ago.  We spotted it while out scouring the countryside, looking for a plot of land on which to drop our chunk of change and secure our stake.  I spotted it first and immediately pointed it out, my husband took one glance and instantaneously shouted out, “There is no way!”  He had remodeled the 1909 house that we purchased when we were first married and now he was ready to build his own house – from the ground up, no demolition required!

While I still find charm in this rickety old house (still vacant 10 years later!)
