Staking My Little Portion of Cyberland.

Filed under: Everything Else — candid reflections @ 8:54 am

For the past week I have been lost in the world of html, ftp, url, and php settings.  I’ve downloaded readers, converters, and players until my computer ran at the pace of a slug, slightly faster than that of my brain.  I’ve also made a new best friend – Google.  What did we do in the days before google?  Everything you could want to know about anything, just waiting to be googled!  Who needs genius when you have google?

This time last week, I knew not a single thing about building a website, but with the help of my ever-ready accomplice google, I now have ¼ of a clue and ½ of a website!  Another five years and I should have that thing up and running!  Okay, it’ll feel like five years but I’ll aim for next week, alright?  It will be tedious, mind-boggeling, hard work…but it will be worth every bit of it if you promise you’ll go check it out.  Promise?  There will be more pictures of my growing photography portfolio for you to check out.

Yah…Google and me.  I’m thinking if I make it through this whole website building process with my corneas still healthfully reflecting light, perhaps I’ll use them to study up on keratoplasty.  Who knows, with the assistance of google I could probably gain enough knowledge to perform a corneal transplantation.  I’ve heard these procedures have a very high success rate, any volunteers?

Stay tuned… the website address will be announced here!
